11-5-09 entry 18
Being sick: Being sick for a couple days is a bummer. You have to do a lot of make up homework. You don't get to see you friends but the good thing is you can talk to them on Facebook or something. I went home on Tuesday with a 101.9 temp. I left Mrs. Smith's class sweating and all red. That is probably the first time I did that. I was really hoping to go to school on Thursday to catch up on all my work. The only part about being sick is that you can sit at home and do nothing. While I was sick I watch the new Ice Age. I really like how there was a bunch of dinosaurs that was pretty neat.

I agree, I hate being sick. I know many teachers who save their sick days for when they're really not sick. That way they can catch up on their work.

Ice Age? Really? The new one came out and my boys loved it!
